Does anyone know about Tyson's reactions, if any, to what he saw?

Apparently, he was focused on what they were doing with their feet and is reported to have said "It's all in the knees, isn't it?"

When he saw a kokyu nage he commented “this technique is all timing. It has nothing to do with power.”

I have no accurate sources on those quotes, but I'm looking

    can we agree here

    Hi Dento,
Can we agree the following? 1.Do not use arm power alone .use full body working as a unit.2.Maintain as far as possible hip contact.3. Be aware at all times.4. Maintain a good centre and aim for posture stability.Joe.

I have nothing for the first quote, but the second appears exactly as quoted in the Payet and Johnston translation of Gozo Shioda's "Aikido Shugyo" p.54

On p.53 "it seems that during the entire demonstration, Tyson kept his eyes glued on our footwork" which is concordant with the first quote.

I think this is probably one of the most watched Aikido vids on Youtube, but hey, why not post it here too?

I have really enjoyed set of post's. Although most of the clips feature high ranking Aikido yudansha, I thought I would put a clip up of my junior members doing some ninnin dori.

The juniors of today are Yudansha of tomorrow. Nice vid, practising like this from a young age is a good stepping stone.

I started Aikido as a youngster like these 37 years ago. I hope that I can do another 30 years.
