Put it in the oven with the light on and leave it till the white creamy part separates from the yellowish liquidy part (when the curd separates from the whey) visibly. Take it out and put it in cheesecloth in a colander - I generally mix it occasionally to speed the straining process. Dump the whole mess into a bowl and whisk it till it's smooth (this part is crucial). Lately here I've been mixing it with fresh Alabama strawberries and cantaloupe - both are delicious.
