Everybody feel free to chime in if you do a striking art, doesnt have to MT/Boxing exclusively. TKD, Karateka, Ninjitsuka, are all welcome!

Slip talked about some awsome bag drills here:

    Couple of questions:

1 - How do I do these drills without a person that can keep me from engraining bad habits? I love hitting the bag for conditioning but I dont want to compound bad habits that're just gonna mess me up once I start learning MT? (in 2-3 months)

2 - In II Ross says that its OK for people to use the heavybag as a conditioning tool even if they dont plan on competing/taking up boxing, does this hold true for MT aswell? And how much of a setback will it be if I keep doing this with bad technique?

3 - I'm doing a poor imitation of a MT roundhouse atm, should I just stick witht he roundhouse I learned in Kung Fu?

4 - What kind of conditioning drill do you guys do, either at the gym or at home, that would be considered sport specific? (other than sparring)

    Thanks in advance.
