It's not under anything, it's on the container. Look closely, it may be hard to see.

Has it been put through Enzymatic Hydrolysis? That way the WPI will be Hydrolysed.

FFS guys now you've just delayed him getting down the gym by about another month at least :D

BV, Enzymatic Hydrolysis........if there's anything else hit him with it NOW or you're just asking for trouble.

I still think he should just stick to a sensible diet and worry about supplements when he's a bit older than 14 (and stopped growing naturally) , but that's just me.

LeeGreg80: You should also look into the rate of assimilation of your protein too.

Whey is the fastest protein when it comes to assimilation - but that is also it's problem! Whey is digested so rapidly that up to 58% of the protein found in regular whey will never reach your muscles. The protein gets oxidized by the liver for energy - destroying any hope you had of improving your muscle growth. This flaw of nature makes your daily scoops of regular whey useless at stopping muscle tissue breakdown. Medical research shows muscle tissue breakdown can best be prevented by slower protein release - so try to ensure that your protein is optimised for slower assimilation to take into account the above.

Hey, Yoda. I think I also told him that whey will digest quickly. I don't think he's reading all the posts people are putting up here.

Oh yeah, and b/c whey digests quickly, you should take during and after your workout.

And please don't ask, "Is it better to take it during or after?" It doesn't matter.

Why does it even matter if it digests quickley

Lee, I have a REALLY good plan for you:

    1. Get off the Internet
    2. Put on some shoes
    3. Go to your nearest gym
    4. Workout at the gym
    5. Go back home
    6. Drink the amount of whey the bottle tells you to
    7. Do the same thing over and over on different days
    8. Wait a couple weeks to see if you have gained strength and muscle
    9. THEN come online

Agreed -when it comes to pure protein -WPI is all I'll use.

BUT - I have much better results with a combo of protein and carbs like EAS Myoplex. I rarely take protein on its own.
