My neck has been tight and generally a little bit sore for ages.

When I wrestle someone always give my neck a good cranking but beyind that its sore most of the time now.

I can crack it by letting it fall to the side, sometimes I need to put pressure into the muscles to get it crack.

I do a couple of stretches that help for a while but it comes back quite quickly.

Anyone got any suggestions as to how I could imprve the situation?

First of all try not to crack your neck.

secondly, do stretches everyday, spin your head each way, and turn your head.

After you feel better, if you want to, you can go to the weight room, and there will be machines there you can use to strengthen your neck.

    Big Safety Tip:

DO NOT do full neck rotation - your neck is designed to circle to the front, and tilt backwards. It is not designed to move to the back diagonal corners. Rotations all the way around to the rear takes it outside it's normal range of motion!

Neck strengthening exercises should not be started whilst pain from injury is present - rest it and then begin a strengthening routine if you like.
