I dont know if its because the posture of how i run or the fact i have very big quads on a naturally skinny frame lets me push my runs much farther than my lungs can usually handle. Now my question is , i feel my lower back muscles working in a positive way as i jog/run , maybe its from my form as i run?

Anyone know of the advantage this may give however slight if any

Your lower back muscles lead into your gluten medius, and work to a degree with your hip flexors, so you still use your back to a small extent when running.

If you feel it a lot, maybe it is related to the pace? What sort of running do you do?
