Sorry Lily, but as a fellow female I'm with Skrom on this one...

    Pink dumbbells are crap!

Seriously, Socrastein is right. You're wasting your time doing high reps with low weights. 35 kg for a leg press, 10kg for an arm press and 15kg for a lat pulldown will achieve precisely nothing.

Training with heavier weights doesn't have to compromise your technique and it will help your performance. However, if you really don't want to train with heavier weights, I would ditch the weights altogether and go for some bodyweight stuff; push ups, hindu squats, pull ups and dips etc.

You guys are funny :D (My dumbbells are purple not pink!)

Everyone on MAP would be guaranteed to beat me in an arm wrestle (even the 10 year olds).

I just find that after a heavy cardio session I don't have the energy for a weight session and I also don't want to compromise on my cardio by doing weights first (sorry guys). I do squats, lunges, push ups, dips as my bodyweight routine. I have seen slight gains in my strength with my light weights routine (that's how much of a weakling I was when I first started doing weights).

Thanks for the link KC, its made me think a little bit :)
