Actually, its the first line of what I used in the quote:
"Auf Wiedersehen und Tschüss ! (good bye)und hoffe dich nie wieder zu sehen ! (hope never to see you again)".

But 'auf wiedersehen' literally means 'until I see you again', right? Is there no way round that? No short snappy way of saying 'bye for good'?

 

Well, you could go down the rude road by saying:
"Verschwinde !" which means in the rudest of manners: "Leave". But Auf Wiedersehen is the normal way of saying this followed by Tschüss, which means: "Good bye !" . And we say Auf Wiedesehen even if we don't want to see the person again. And thats also why I decided to end my little song I wrote by saying " We hope never to see you again." because not everyone knows that.
