Does anyone have ideas/suggestions/opinions on good ways to train both types of cardio. Yoda you have anything in your archives Thanks
u got a point Jimmy...i think shadowboxing comes in that?if it doesn't then i don't do it -TkdWarrior-
Not quite. The closest comparison I guess is kata, but its simpler, more focus on practicing techniques, and usually done with a little more energy. Actually yeah, shadowboxing's pretty close comparison as you are meant to visualise your target as you do the patterns.
Circuits, circuits, circuits..... with skipping in between The harshest one we did consisted of stations of 1) Clockworks (flat on back rotating legsin circle from high to low) 2) Pressup (Normal, Diamond, "Matrix", Wide, One handed) 3) Sit-ups ( crunches, sit up, inverse crunch) 4) Alternate leg lifts 5) Squats (narrow stance, wide, widest) sometimes weighted 6) Jump and tucks (cos I hate Burpees) We looked at a clock at the wall and skipped. When i minute passed down on floor and first station. Then finsh up and skip... when the clock clicks again next exercise. Set number start at 10 then increments of 5 (15,20,25,30) Wait for arms and legs to fall off --> request final meal --> die I love training : ). YODA>> I'm kinda gutted I wasn't around when you were up at the Eskirma course. Between You, Freeform and myself we could come up with some absolutely sadistic training exercises. Any thoughts about running a 'Killer Sunday' up here in Edinburgh?? I know me and Freeform would be well up for it!!!
