I'm looking for a guide to help me practice the correct method of picking the boken up from the floor and sheathing it.
I've been through it a couple of times in class but am struggling to remember for practice at home , any pointers or links to useful videos would be appreciated.

Flick it up with your foot, catch it, twirl it a bit and then shove it in your obi.

Bend down, pick it up, and put it in your obi edge up with handle sticking out forward... Its hard but you will get used to it.

Ok I'll be clearer , I'm in seiza with the bokken in front of me.
There seems to be a specific set of movements to picking it up , not letting the point touch the ground , and sheathing it.
    This is what I'm after.

Different schools will have a different set of specific movements for paired kata for the sword. If they practice with an actual sword that is. As you might have gathered from the previous comments. Most don't bother with anything specific or ornate for the bokken.

You'll have to ask your instructor about this.

Yeah , I was going to take my camera next week and ask to film one of the dan grades.

If you youtube the name of the ryu with seiza rei added you might get something.

Bare in mind what you do with a sword is different to doing it with a bokken.

Edit - this is aikido isnt it, it varies between schools. Sorry!

Do you have a saya with your bokken? If so, I am guessing they want you to do a formal noto. If I just have a bokken with no saya or proper iai obi, I generally don't stuff it in my belt or do pretend draw/noto.

Other than that, just remember blade end away from you, point toward rear, etc.
