Yin/Yang

If I have my info correct, the idea of yin and yang says that everything is either masculine or feminine; the specific case that I want to bring up being that light is masculine (yang) and darkness is feminine (yin).

Well, ever hear a guy say he's "getting in touch with his feminine side"? Does this actually mean he is "going over to the dark side"?
