Hi peeps I was at the WKA's today with four of my fighters. Two got on the England suad Not bad considering this is only the second competition these two fighters have done. Did anyone else go or have students fighting at the WKA's
As a follow up Lee Morgan Thanks! and as a follow up a very good friend of mine Lee Morgan won both his full contact fights to win his Light welter weight bout at a recent WAKO staged event. Lee trains at Manchester Cobras in Salford with 4th dan instructor and another good friend of mine Brian Barnes.
Brian Barnes??? WOW! there is a name from the past! I was once upon a time taught by Brian Barnes. Very softly spoken guy, little guy with good strong hands. Nothing but respect for the man
One of my best freinds is our brian does a lot of ground and pound to keep fit and helps out every now and then with my lots kickboxing gradings. Manchester Cobras I train with Brian most mondays Were getting on a bit now so we tend to just work the pads rather than do a lot of sparring. Your right by the way he is probably one of the nicest genuine people around.

I’ve always wanted to go and compete at WKA events but I don’t know much about it as there isn’t much up on their site. :cry: If I could find out more about it id like to compete at the next one.
