ok so i feel kinda stupid asking this but i cant think of the name of this drill. All MMA and BJJ schools do it. all i can do is describe it because i cant find a video link. its a drill where you lay on your back, then with your hands you push forward while maneuvering to your hips and pushing of off one of your legs. Thats the best way i can describe it. Its a drill used to maneuver someone of you when your on the bottom. if anyone could post a video link of what they think im referring to, thatd be great.
Sounds like snaking: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oh-9rbc7Vy4"]YouTube- Snake Drill for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu[/ame]
I'm assuming he means the same sort of technique but you put one elbow in their throat area and the other against their hip between both of your bodies. You push with one, shimp out a bit then push with the other and keep doing it till they're off you or you can work to some form of guard, normally spider when I do it

Elbow escape is if you are mounted, you drive your close side elbow into their knee and your hand goes on their hip. You push so as to lift their knee to make a little space, then preform the shrimp motion. Hook that leg. you'll be in half guard, shrimp agin to the other side and you can either get guard or try for a standup.
