I'm on series 2 episode 1, with the dead boyfriend in "the cloud" (Be Right Back). It's a bit creepy.
Just started Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency. I quite like it,the right mix of dark and odd for me.
If I haven't mentioned it. Blunt Talk. Patrick Professor Picard Stewart at his nuttiest oddball best.
The OA . Didn't know what it was, saw it pop up on NetFlix yesterday, watched the first episode, binged watched and finished the last episode today. I really liked it. It has some familiar faces to me as a fan of The Walking Dead and The Office. Some people have compared it to Stranger Things - which has some slight basis, but really it is a totally different plot, pacing, and type of show. If you like freaky, supernatural, and unpredictable stuff, then it's worth giving the first few episodes a try at least.
The new Netflix series of Shooter, 3 episodes in and enjoying it so far. Less OTT action and more drama and cat and mouse than the movie, and Phillipe gives a more nuanced performance than Wahlberg.
Watched Hip Hop Evolution on Netflix. It was OK but predictable, I didn't really learn much. Nowhere near as good as last year's Metal Evolution. Finally watched the first episode of Vikings, prefer it to GoT certainly.
I watched a bit last night, up to the dog bit. Why didn't you like it? I'm undecided at the moment, but seemed OK.
Couldn't get into The OA at all. Dunno why, but it didn't grab me. I started to watch a Belgian police drama on Netflix called The Break and it seems very good so far. Nothing original, just the usual, dead body, cop with problems...why do they always have problems...crappy police saying it's suicide and the case doesn't need investigating, but it's done well. Only on episode 2 but enjoying it. Belgian noir is apparently the new thing in police dramas.
I'm watching X-Files (season 2 right now) again, while working on tons of stuff for kids training and my own (I really should have used the holidays, as I planned for that!). Still liking it and maybe I actually made it to the end of the show this time. I actually didn't know, until watching one of the new episodes), Spoiler that apparently Mulder and Scully had married? So re-watching and maybe until the end might be sort of useful
DS9 is getting random. Taking a break from it. Me with flu, I'm catching up on past Ultimate Fighters. I also just realised I haven't seen Sherlock Series 3...
