What ethnicity are you most?

This is a fascinating thread!

On my Mum's side I'm a nice straightforward split between Scottish and Swiss Romande. On my Dad's side it's a bit fuzzier: Irish and some Jewish blood on his father's side, Scottish on his mother's side - with maybe a bit of English blood picked up along the way.

 

How on earth did I miss you on MAP?!?!

 

Mother - From Maximiliansau Germany, she's as German and white as they get.
Father - From Charlotte NC and as black as they come.

Black folks think I'm just lightskinned, the rest say I look Puertorican.

 

On my mothers side: Dutch, Indonesian (moluccan)
On my fathers side: Dutch, Indonesian (sundanese, madurese)
My family name is according to some surname sites Scottisch
I am a Dutch-Indonesian European.....

 

Father - Romanian, pretty white
Mother - half Yemanite, half Libyan, pretty dark skinned

Moca flavored skin, sort of southern Italian or something.

 

Father - Grandpa is Mongol and Grandma is Southern Chinese , that make me descendents of the great khan !!!!!!

Mother - Hungarian

Well , that make me very Central Asian or Eurasian and I am more Mongoloid

But then I am born in Hong Kong and currently in Vancouver

 

Mostly Swedish.


Makes me want to pillage some poor unsuspecting town...

 

I am English all the way down both lines of my family. My dad side is of nobel blood, my mums side are all theives and criminals lol.

 

I'm Turkish.

My ancestry however consists of Turkic, most probably some Tatar and/or Mongolian and Syrian. I have some family members with features resembling oriental/far east asian.

The further back we go we are all a mixture of many things.

Geez, lets see-
My mother is Scot and French Basque my father is Volga German and Irish.

The Cambell family reunions are interesting. I have more teeth in my head then all of them combined. Apparently the just don't have dentists in Mississippi.

60% Irish 20% German and a bit of French, Spanish and Jamaican.

 

How do you get 60%?

I can understand 50%, or 25%, but 60% I don't understand.

 

My mums all irish and my dad has a bit of irish too as well as all the other stuff.

 

Why are all Americans like 30 ethnicities, yet the rest of the world are at most 50-50?

 

Well, my short answer to ethnicity is "All-American mutt"
