No, you're taking things in a direction I'm not implying. The basic principles of boxing are all applicable in MMA. They share the same goals at the end of the match and the qualities you're looking for to beat your opponent are identical. MMA and boxing are far more similar than something like shotokan or tkd because they DONT share the same goals. They're awarding touch based points and in a lot of tournaments aren't even continuous - encouraging a whole host of bad habits that have sweet FA to do with fighting.

No aggression at all actually, just saying about the swearing. I'm guessing that it's still against the TOS. It's usually not a good response to someone commenting on your age.

I look at it like this. It's way better to get criticism and knowledge of other people's opinions of my thoughts on a forum than to embarrass myself in public.Meaning i don't know some thing's that may apply to a subject and someone else may. This is a very educated and informed forum and there are many here with miles and miles of experience on subjects and actual events that they have personal experience with. I would say to you just take it and learn. IMHO

haha I didn't pick a fight with anyone (least of all you, even tho I found your comments about MMA and the kind of people it attracts as ludicrous as I'm sure you would if I said the same about Mauy thai ). he tried to be smart because of a little spat we had on another thread he apparently hasn't gotten over my point was as much as he may not like me and as much as I would love to meet him face to face I don't go picking fights with him on every thread he posts on and it would be nice if he should me the same courtesy. cant get a job so there for couldn't afford the 15 quid a week plus I train judo one of the training nights. but if I ever take up Muay thai Carluke is the first place ill go.
