UC's fight was one of the best on the night! I tried to get some video on my phone but I haven't had a chance to see how it looked yet.. Honestly it was good to see UC do a lot of things right: good timing with techniques/slipping/clinching, series of techniques chained well together, appropriate counter punching/kicking etc. I have been to enough matches to recognise class! Thanks mate. If I'm honest I struggled to keep my hands up at one point and took more head shots than I should of. Was a bloody hard fight and I was struggling to breathe because of illness. Still much room for improvement, still rough around the edges, but last night was a real physical and mental test. Got my bumps and bruises, sprained my shoulder half way through and got caught with a sneaky elbow to the back of my head. I reckon Arran will have sore ribs this morning though. They were the focus the entire fight and I saw him wince more than a few times when my shin connected with them. Cracking night overall. Lessons to be learnt, but very happy with the final result!

Being honest with myself is the only way I'll get better at what I do. I'm enjoying the win but will be back in the gym shortly with a renewed focus.
Words cannot describe how exhausted I was after that fight. Being ill, and being one of the last fighters on the show, really didn't help.
