It's very painful but it can also do serious damage. Just like your arm can hyper extend and break, so can your jaw. Actual RNC doesn't really hurt that much to be honest. Personally I think Khabib went for what was available. Although there is a certain sense of irony in Khabib momentarily stopping Conor from being able to speak.
LOL, I had not even thought of that! Funny! But I agree with Icefield -- I think Connor's chin was initially tucked down, and rather than fish around for an exposed neck, Khabib went for the crank instead. Smart move.
Further developments. For clarification, I think Connor is doing what pays, but personally he's gone too far with the heel shtick for my tastes, and kahib seems like a good guy, surrounded by very very dodgy people, but a fights a fight, and In that respect they're both really worth watching whilst inside the ring.
I don't think khabib is a good guy. Conor is a tool and has been allowed to get away with too much but at least he's not humiliating homeless people in the street. It's a case of unstoppable idiot meets immovable idiot.
