Holy moly!! Not one but two stories in today's Indy http://www.independent.co.uk/news/w...s-own-leg-to-avoid-hospital-fees-8874322.html http://www.independent.co.uk/news/w...an-beats-bear-in-siberian-forest-8872588.html
the guy defending a bear attack with a knife to the heart is how I imagine I would defend against one of those dangerous dogs which are allowed on the streets, but I don't have a knife (since it's illegal) and it would need to be an accurate first strike. would probably still get a savage bite though
As long as they're isolated they're easily defeated. They say when they're in a pack you have to hit the leader dog and the others will back down, but I haven't experienced this personally and I don't even know if it's accurate. As far as knives go, I carry a long thick steel cable that you can swing like a whip. A bit difficult to describe in words, but it's not technically illegal, and anyway it can look like a dog's leash so it doesn't call attention.
I was about to laugh and say "Joke's on you, the photos are on my old PC that doesn't work properly!". Then my wife pointed out they're on her FB account. ...give me a few minutes to work it out...
*sigh* I'm not sure if I hate you guys for this, but here we go. Just bear in mind I was 21 and it was my birthday party. So you know, I was five years uglier. What has been seen cannot be unseen!!! Spoiler That's the only one you're getting!
Is'nt it about time you changed your avatar? (just kidding, please don't inflict that on the sensitive souls on MAP !!) :Alien:
