Actually, my life is not all that tough, and most everyone I meet accepts me. Government discrimination and the few nutjobs that yell things at me on the street don't make my life particularly tough or make me feel sorry for myself, they just make me mad (I'm like the lesbian hulk, grrr.) If my happy, wonderful, committed 3 year relationship with my girlfriend / partner is in anyway self indulgent, than I'm sorry, maybe more heterosexual relationships should be as self indulgent as ours, maybe there'd be less divorce and more happy couples in the world.
