Ok team, I think its about time I posted something off topic - its about time I let my hair down. So tell me - which one is your favourite?............. Reservoir Dogs? Jackie Brown? Pulp Fiction? Lets weigh up the pros and cons.........
You certainly do get wid & crazy when you let your hair down .... hmmm, it's a toss up! Pulp Fiction or Reservoir Dogs .... didn't see the other
I liked Jackie Brown, Samuel L Jackson is one of the coolest guy's on the planet. I've not seen the other two, so can't say
Shouldn't this have been a poll then. Definitely Pulp Fiction, but Reservoir Dogs is a very close second.
If its favourite Tarrantino film, why didn't you have True Romance!? Excellent film. Although I think I'd just pick Pulp Fiction above it. But only just!!! What about your favourite quote? Although 90% of quotes would probably get you banned from this site, this one isn't too bad! Butch: Will you hand me a towel, tulip? Fabienne: Ah, I like that. I like tulip. Tulip is much better than mongoloid.
What about Four Rooms (rubbish), Killing Zoe, Natural Born Killers, Dusk Till Dawn 1. Just off the top of my head. Kill Bill is due out shortly, martial arts related - looking forward to it. Uma Thurman in Bruce Lee's Game Of Death yellow suit. Drool.
The reason I didn't say any other QT films is purely because these three are always bunched together Anyway......... Favourite quote? Well it has to be..... "There's a passage I got memorized, seems appropriate for this situation: Ezekiel 25:17. "The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you." MWAHAHA
Dusk 'til Dawn wasn't entirely a Tarrantino film. Yeah, he was in it and wrote it, but it was directed by Richard Rodriguez, who really brought the film to life. Resevoir Dogs was the best,. ("What about Four Rooms (rubbish), Killing Zoe, Natural Born Killers, Dusk Till Dawn 1. Just off the top of my head."... wasn't Natural Born Killers an Oliver Stone movie?) Saw the previews for Kill Bill, gotta see it when it comes out!
Tarrantino only wrote the others I think..... But I'd still class them as his. Natural born killers was good and Dusk till Dawn pretty decent. True Romance is still the best he wrote but didn't direct! IMO Good quote kobudo_tob, what was his explaination of the quote, that was good, but made little sense
Natural Born Killers story was written by Tarantino. I didn't rate Stone's version of it though to be honest. Writer - filmography 1. Inglorious *******s (2004) (announced) 2. Kill Bill (2003) (filming) (written by) 3. Jackie Brown (1997) (written by) 4. Curdled (1996) (news report) 5. From Dusk Till Dawn (1996) 6. Four Rooms (1995) (written by) (segment "The Man From Hollywood") 7. Pulp Fiction (1994) (screenplay) (stories) 8. Natural Born Killers (1994) (story) 9. True Romance (1993) (written by) 10. Reservoir Dogs (1992) (written by) 11. My Best Friend's Birthday (1987)
Ah yes, the explaination of the passage - I used to think the gun was the shepard (or something along those lines). Top quote.
I must confess - I haven't seen any of those three So - good are they? Natural Born Killers - now THAT was a film!
Don;t rate Jackie Brown. Would recommend the other 2 though. Prefer Pulp Fiction myself, but probably personal preference (and Uma Thurman is in it with black har).
