Going to start capoeira tomorrow to help strengthen my body and work my cardio.
Which style are you doing? Angola?

I called the school on wednesday they said it's a mixture of Angola and regional.

It is a pretty good work out. Great for your core, flexibility and cardio in my opinion.
Good luck! One word of caution...While I know nothing of this particular group, I'm usually wary of groups that say they do both regional and angola. They're not frauds, mind you, but many such groups are groups that do regional or contemporanea fairly well and a stereotypical type of angola. Again, though, I don't know that group and they may do it well. I would, however, recommend that once you begin training that you go by and visit Kabula London (at least visit their rodas) to see what a group dedicated solely to angola looks like.
