Splitting Audio Output

I was wondering if the brainiacs on this forum can help me with a fairly simple problem that I can't seem to find an answer to thus far.

I've got a dual display setup, using my computer to output to a big screen TV to watch my .avi movies and what not. Thing is, I've got the video split so that someone can watch a video streaming off my computer while I surf the internet or play games or whatever, but I need to split the audio.

Is there a way for me to listen to music or play games through a set of headphones while the movies I'm outputting to the TV play on my speakers? Are we talking about a software fix, or a hardware fix, or both?

I have an A8N SLI-Deluxe and am using the onboard audio, ACL850 I believe.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You would need two audio outs from your computer, so maybe 2 sound cards would do this, controlling them with software. I'm sure if it's doable someone has figured it out. It could also be a train wreck. A google of "two sound cards" returns thousands of hits.
