The name of the girl on the left in that pic is Ha Jiwon. She is my future ex-girlfriend. Unfortunately, she is not a TKD chick, but she does study Hapkgido. Someone over on Bullshido made that poster as an homage to Maverick and myself.

I really dislike the word 'chic' and 'taekwondo' being associated. I think it's really offensive to women. It certainly offends me. Sorry, that's just my opinion.

The term chick is an interesting one. Most women I know don't seem to find it offensive, but I have encountered some who do. I would guess that our Admin here does not. Those who do, it would be interesting to hear if all terms denoting "attractive females" are offensive as well, ie. "babe", "hottie", etc.

"KickAttractiveLady" just doesn't have the same ring, does it?

 

The annoying thing is we don’t have such generic terms for men, implying that their only value is in thier attractive, however new terms like himbo and manwhore give me hope.

 

The ladies I hang with have plenty of terms for attractive young men. A few would violate the TOS, and a few don't translate well into English. The Korean term for "delicious" sounds a bit similar to the Korean term for "gentleman", thus resulting in some very interesting word play.

 

Almost makes me want to learn to swear in *incert whatever you friends speak*
