Sifu Jack Lincoln

I'm thinking of joining a Wing Chun school in my area. The sifu is named Jack Lincoln and I was just wondering if anyone here has heard of him.

Cant say i have heard of him , perhaps you sould email or call the sifu before you attend , that is what i did when i first went to a wing chung lesson.
Seems weird that the school doesnt use a belt or grading system.

 

Actually it's the Kung Fu schools that DO use the belt systems that are weird. It's not traditional to use belts.

 

I was just curious if anyone has heard of him so I knew somewhat what to expect when I found time to go down there.

 

seconded belts are for trousers, boards dont hit back, yada yada yada

 

Yeah i wouldn't worry too much about belts... its not really indicative of anything in my experience.

Although I guess larger schools might be more likely to use belts to easily keep track of students thru a grading process.
