saito hajime style of martial arts

    i have a question about saito hajime martial arts according to this website
    his style was itto ryu mugai ryu and tishi ryu but the owner of the website also speak about it uncertain does any body know what style exactly he studied?

    That was a character from the popular Japanese anime Rurouni Kenshin. I didn't realize he was based off an actual historical figure... or is that site a gimmick?

    That's cool, I never knew that. I practically memorize every episode by heart even though I was a kid when I watched it so it's a bit surprising, and exciting, that he was based off actual events. Reading about his attitude and physical description in the OP's URL exactly fits the way he was portrayed in the anime.

    yes he was a reall charecter and he was very skillfull in martial arts it is said that even okita soji feard his ability in swordmanship and he was a very fast iai master he also trained some students and it is said that his students even couldnt scratch his fingers during training

    That's nuts. Also, the piece of story about Okita Soji was also added in the anime. I wonder if the main character Kenshin Himura was real as well?

    Kenshin is a fictional character loosely based to the hitokiri, Kawakami Gensai .
