I have been usually Yoga over the last several months to help me get my flexibility back (I am a 52 old fart). I do bjj 3 times per week and do wt 2 times per week. Because of time constraints btw work, family and bJJ I was considering doing power yoga as perhaps a way of getting benefits of flexibility but still getting some strength training. Anyone ever done this and what do you think of power yoga vs wts. Thanks.
for pure BJJ training, I'd say that Yoga (especially Ashtanga if that's what you mean) would be better than weightlifting alone - but both together would be even better.
