I wish WKSA would, in writing/print, generate an newsletter or a link on the website with all the revisions to the curriculum. There have been too many "updates" that contradict the texts. This would help with any questions on what is "correct".

That would help. I often have learned these "changes" by watching others at tournament.

    Why change them at all?

Due to different individuals interpretations, different body styles, and different instructors, there are some miscues in the curriculum.

Sometimes people think that since they seen a technique/hyung done a certain way in demos, that is the way to do it, not knowing that the individual changed the hyung/technique specifically for the demo.

Having two masters sometimes has its drawbacks, I was taught dang sahm gum hyung( double short sword) two different ways, most of the time I combine the interpretations to make a standard way of doing it.
