    EDIT: oh the GP?

    Vanderlei Silva VS Hidehiko Yoshida

hmmm tough one, i don't really think yoshida will have time to take silva to the ground. but i'm going with yoshida in round 1, with an arm bar

    Quinton Jackson VS Mauricio Shogun

    rampage by decision

Silva by murder. He didn't like the fact that it went all the way last time and he'll want that stain on his record gone.
On Jackson's recent form against the Chute Boxe squad, I'm picking Shogun by decision. I rate him higher than his brother Ninja, but this is a fight in which anything can happen
I'm going with Hendo in this one, but he won't stop L'il Nog, so it's going to have to be a decision
This will be a great fight. I'm picking Kondo - he's much more technical, but if one of those sledgehammers Igor calls hands connects, he's going to have an early nap
Probably Randleman, but never underestimate how many ways he can find to get himself submitted
    Sakuraba all the way
I've been burned too many times betting on Belfort. I'd love to see him return to form, and he looked good against Tito until he gassed in the 3rd, but I'm not making a prediction until I see the way his eyes look when he's in the ring
    Arona by armbar
This should be a really great GP

    My calls would be:

Silva by TKO (i'd love to be proven wrong by this though)

A tough one! All i know is I love watching Jackson fight; im gunna have to go with Sever on this one, Shogun by decision.

    Henderson by decision.

Can't wait too see this one! It's going to tough, but i'm leading more towards Kondo, if he manages to avoid Igor's big nuke for hands.

    Randleman by TKO.

This is a no brainer; Sakuraba :)

I'll tell you as they're in the stare down :) All depends on how Vitor's gunna come to this fight.

Arona on this one; either by submission or decision; Lister has good standup, but Arona has a great ground game.

All I know is im really looking forward to this event; I'm gunna be rooting for Kondo thats for sure, he gave Henderson a running for his money during the last event, and I have high hopes for him in this fight.

In Japan it will be April 23, I'm not sure about the delay for the other countries. You will have to see your cable or satellite provider.

Wow, what a constructive way to bump a thread
I still stand by my predictions - after the debacle that was my calls for UFC 52, I'm due a return to form ;)

Are you sure that was Pride?

Best fights of the night are going to be Kondo vs Vovchanchyn and Jackson vs Shogun :)

I can't see it happening either; Silva is just to strong for him.

Heh Im counting down the seconds till when Silva finally gets tapped/decisively beaten:(.

I agree with Yuki's picks although I think Rampage will win.

Silva's ground game is far better than Mark Hunt's. I'm not debating the fact that Yoshida is great on the ground; I just dont think Yoshida has what it takes to take Silva down, keep him there, and tap him out.

Uhh the vitor fight was 7 years and the tito fight was 5 years ago....get with the times :p .

I meant like since in pride hes basically raped everyone they put him against. And man oh man do I want to see him beaten.

Seems like Yoshida has been doing abit of Thai boxing for this fight against Silva. :)
