My wife has (very kindly) paid for a few days in New York for my 30th birthday (I am from the UK). I will spend the days doing the tourist stuff but on the night I want to go for a drink (or 18). Can anyone advise me on any bars, clubs or areas that are worth taking a look at ?. Somewhere nice and hassle free is ideal. Thanks for any help in advance.
I've never been there but I have heard of this palce called "Scores" I hear it is nice. I bet you can find it on the internet. You could join the Zagat Survey, and get restaurant reviews for the city. It is pretty cheap for all the info you will get.
There is a restaurant called 'Houstens' and they serve the nicest, softest, ribs I have ever tasted. And I eat a lot.
