kenpo at uc davis/ city of davis I am going off to college in september, and will only be able to attend my current dojo on the weekends, here in san francisco. I was wondering if anyone had any information about reputable preferably shaolin kenpo(ralph castro lineage) dojo in the city of Davis, CA or if the university itself had a club for kenpo practitioners. Thank you, Ilya
thank you for the link. The only one I have found on the list here is in sacramento which is right next to davis, so I am going to look into that, however the referal thing sounds strange, coming from a member of the family that founded the art here in the USA. I am also interested in training in kajikenbo (apparently the forms are similar to that which I practice here in SF), so if you could possibly provide a link for schools around the sacramento area for kaji, I would greatly appreciate it. I will post a seperate thread about the school. Thank you, Ilya PS:although I do not mind training in both kaji and shaolin at the same time, I would prefer to stick to shaolin for the time being.
Has anyone had any experience with this academy, headed by Rob Castro in Sacramento, CA. I currently train in San Francisco under professor brannon beliso, who is of the Ralph Castro lineage. I will be going to college at UC Davis soon, will be training there during the week and at home in SF on the weekends, and would like to find a reputable school in the area. Thank you for any information, Ilya

hmmm, nice link, yet a third Kenpo school in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota...didn't know about that one before. I may have to scope that one out just to see what it's all about.
yep Well, previously I knew of my gym, which practices a heavily modified form of Kenpo from Connors lineage (pre-Traco) and another one in Eagan that teaches the Tracy system, I never knew about this Shaolin Kenpo place in St. Paul...
