If you would expect this of them then the same should be required of the bujinkan as their scrolls have not been evaluated either for authenticity. This sounds like the pan calling the kettle black scenario.

Considering that from those pictures the Hombu looks extremely shut, maybe they all got distracted by Saizeriya! ;)

Same with Ayase - Mr Donut has a lot to answer for.

So when and where were the bujinkan scrolls authenticated by a qualified external authority. Let me give you a hint as to the answer. Nev..... :p

No offense (this is not directed at anyone) but we're not talking about the Bujinkan here. This is neither here nor there guys!

So you think it is irrelevant that practioners of an unathenticated fighting system attack the authenticity of another fighting system. .

As an aside a I also dont think folks here have much to say regarding physical condtioning of their senior practioners. There are a lot of chubbies and pencil necks in the bujinkan unfortunately.

Write me an email if you want to talk about the Bujinkan. Not here.

Anyway, I am going to take the liberty of explaining what this stuff is with my feeble Japanese:

    Asayama Ichiden Ryu scroll:

Regarding the people of Japan- stuff like that (not Ninjutsu)

Theres a picture entitled Tanewa Shinobi on the Konnigun page. This looks like a younger version of the Japanese man with the white T Shirt. theres a certificate hanging next to this picture, and on that certificate is what looks like the character NIN.

    Anyone know what this says?

Does anyone actually doubt that Masaaki Hatsumi inherited all nine Bujinkan ryuha from Takamatsu Toshitsugu?? Does anyone actually doubt that the authenticity of some of the schools, such as Kukishin Ryu and Takagi Yoshin Ryu, is beyond reasonable question??

I can't imagine any informed critic making such claims.

    Laterz.

To answer your question. Yes and yes. However, this thread isn't about that, as that subject is being discussed in another thread. So, let's keep it that way.

While I dont necessarily agree with mods decision I will respect it and drop the discussion of the bujinkan scrolls.

I can only see this turning into a tempest. Maybe closing the thread is a good thing. These folks are privy to lawsuits....be careful. For the record...I was only posting what I say was on the website to the best of my knowledge.

Its a load of crap. I dont care if he tries to get me in trouble. Worst case scenario is that he actually DID learn something from that Japanese guy, and he THINKS its ninpo, and was given a bunch of crappy scrolls. Although its cool that he has the asayama ichiden scroll, I also have it. The translated book version, and an actual makimono.. and guess what that means.... NOTHING! I got them from ebay......

I have to admit though, hes doing a very good job and pretending. I guess all of those years secluded in his basement with twinkies and nintendo created a very imaginative mind... and supple body.
