Interesting Clip... enjoy. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CAq1Z0KjRN4"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CAq1Z0KjRN4[/ame]
Best ninja knife disarm I have ever seen: "Drop it," and he does.:jawdrop: Not sure where the island of Kushu is or what ryu that was, but if I was in Oz, I'd go visit one of their 25 locations.:bang:
I don't get it, why were they clapping? I'm Australian too so I can confirm it's not a cultural thing!
Because they're scouts, and they are nothing if not polite. Yep, Kevin Hawthorne ninjitsu - Australia's contribution to the martial arts world
One of my students did.... none of their students showed up. Hmm.... PS Godsdammit, Nick, I'm trying to eat here, man.....
Drop a line to their instructor, mention that you live in Japan and have stumbled across their clip and wish to visit their hombu - "Kyushin Ryu Ninjutsu" and ask for the address... I'll warm the popcorn.
Nah, mate, that's just the normal Aussie look... of course, some say that that's the same as "having a few"....
I could only get through 1st 2 minutes. I yelled outright at the sword and chuck demo. Moments like these make me sad to be indie. Pathetic. :bang:
No...these guys are not Xkan that went independant.... these guys are students of Grandmaster Toda from the Island of Kyushu from the Kyu Shin Ryu Ninjutsu School.....who taught their master, Kevin Hawthorne while he was in Japan in the 70s at Yokohama Naval Base. Its a school that's been around for 800 years. Didn't you pay attention to the start of the clip... sigh
