can anyone recommend a good judo instructional dvd that teaches things like how to set up a throw and how to throw on the move for a novice.
Well, there's one I got in China that I really like, but it's all in Mandarin. But if you find it, it's called Roudao dianying or something like that(Chinese pronounciation of Judo, same Rou as in my name/username). Judoinfo.com might have some reviews, I don't know. It's always a good resource
Check-out Hatashita Enterprises. I've ordered a few judogis from them over the years and their service (in my experience, anyway) has been really good. They supply just about everything you'd need for Judo. They sell DVDs & they ship anywhere globally. Try linking through here: http://in.hatashita.com/docs/pc6/ Best of luck in your nage waza. Osu...
