Is Mixed Martial Arts Plagarism?

I use the term cage fighting as people just stare at you blankly unless you say it?

 

the shamrock bros learn't shooto/catch style stuff IIRC which i guess is why MMA is coming full circle (back to catch wrestling) but i didnt realise they taught it all in one class! cool!

i think that might be more to do with the shamrock bros being the awesome shamrock bros rather than the efficiency of teaching a full system (i bet it costs an arm and a leg too). out here most folks who teach "MMA" as a system are "Rex Cage Fighter Extreme MMA" type classes (not incredibly skilled or knowledge folks jumping on the MMA bandwagon).

 

Sounds like a good way to get hurt. That's a shame.
