Hi all. Another Scotsman here After many years of Judo I went over to Aikido. Have to say that (for the most part) I am enjoying it hugely. In the past 4 years (in my 5th now) I have met some great people....at least 60% of the people I have trained with After some Ki, some Iwama and some independent clubs, I am currently enjoying the Shodokan system with the club at Herriot Watt University. I find it comfortable with my Judo background. So, that's me...I'm off to start arguing about strangles Mark Johnston.
Hi, nice to meet you. IMO Judo and Aikido complement each other better than any two other martial arts that I know of, you made a great choice.
