Okay, I heard this on the radio today, but how much would you spend on your partner's xmas present if you had only been together for 6 months?? My friend said £25, I said £35 - £40 (maybe I'm just extra generous?) So what do you MAPers think?
I think it depends on how much you make. If you have a salary of $20k per year, $40 - $50 seems pretty generous. If you pull in $85k/year, that seems chincy.
Yeah just depends what they want and how much you can afford. I am finding it increasingly more difficult to but people things. Everyone seems to have everything.
lets put it this way. if your name isn't tekkengod, or it hasn't been the best 6 months of my life. 40 bucks is really, really pushing it.
