http://www.sherdog.com/news/news/Ho...xing-Sets-Sights-on-FullTime-MMA-Career-51769 I've been following Holm a little bit. Southpaw with solid athleticism. She's only lost once since 2004. She also fights out of the Jackson/Winklejohn camp. I'm looking forward to big things from her in the future. Wonder if she'll stay at 145?
How good this girl can be in mma ? Don't pretend to know much about her but her mma record suggests she isn't a one punch finisher
Why would you think she needs one-shot KO power? I've seen two of her matches. She's got great movement and better cage awareness than most other MMA athletes in general, and uses feints very well. Though her greatest success has come from boxing, she actually started in kickboxing, and her kicking skills have essentially won her the first two fights of her career. She was clearly comfortable in the clinch and didn't panic on the ground. That's a really good start for a "boxer". Plus, training out of Jackson's MMA means she's got arguably the best coach(es) in the business, and certainly a wealth of training partners. Her biggest obstacle right now, I think, is that I believe all of her MMA bouts have been at 145lbs; the only marketable fight is with Cyborg at that weight, unless Carano returns- which I doubt.
