Just wanted to stop by and say hello to fellow Martial Artists. New to the site but it looks a great place to chat and share ideas. Been studying Martial Arts for a fair few years now and have studied Karate, Kick boxing, Muay Thai, Judo and Wing Chun. Hope to get involved in some posts going forward.
We have a few different tags. The first one I have is Publisher. This was for having an article posted in the articles section. Anyone can submit an article, but rather than being show immediately, it is checked over by a MOD (come to that later) for approval. The second one I have is supporter. MAP is costly to run and any contribution is gratefully accepted. The eaiest way to help is to become a supporting member. Further information can be found here. The final one I have is topic mod. If you are not familiar with internet forums there are global mods, then topic mods. Topic mods are assigned a topic, so mine is health and fitness. Others are shown against each forum section here. The topic mods are able to edit the posts in their section, as well as a few other duties around the place. Global mods (shown with green names) have access to all areas and really have the final say as to what can and can't go on at MAP. You will see some tags that say award winner. These were awarded for things like the years best post, most helpful mapper and so on. Due to everyone being so busy we have not had any awards issued this year. There are other tags, but I'm sure you'll see them as we go along.
I suspect there will be a link in one of his/her future posts. The posts look like an attempt to establish contact for a scam of some sort, or for a future advertisement for a gaming website?
Stop spamming other people's intro threads or you're gone. If you want to discuss gaming post in the gaming section. It'd be nice to post an intro thread of your own to introduce yourself to MAP Mitch
