My job means I do a fair bit of travelling but I will be spending quite a lot of time at our new office in sandbach, cheshire.

I have seen some adverts for Bujinkan Cheshire, and thought I may give it another shot while I ain't get any fights on...something Tengu Dojo?

Does anyone have any experience of training with them? Not just hearsay, actual training experience... apparently this guy is pretty solid but a fair few of his students look vvvvveeeeerrrryyyyyy lllllaaarrrrpppppyyyyy.

    His name is Alf.

I trained with Alf - He's like Ronseal - Can do exactly what it says on the tin.

Good bloke, good martial artist even before he took up Ninjutsu. Give it a go.

Alfredo is a genuine martial artist.
If martial arts is what you want .He is your man.It is his life and he has a wealth of experience both in and out of the Dojo.

I have trained with both of them David and Alfredo and worked doors with them .
I know for 100% the relative strength of them both.I find it difficult to understand how you can come to make such a statement Norman.
Unless you have them mixed up.

i didn't say David was good George just that i think Davids movement is better than his brother, he also doesn't have the arrogance that alfred has

Well that is true(but not the movement part ,no way)

Alfredo is high maintenance ,that is for sure.He has also come up with some strange ideas about the way forward.
He has flaws,as do we all,but his martial skills are quite something.
As I said If its martial arts you want .He is your man.
If its companionship and a life coach, perhaps not.

And David is a lovely man.

I've never seen Alf come across as arrogant when I've trained with him.

He can appear so when you meet him is certain circumstances.
He is ultra defensive and thinks almost everyone is against him.But if he trusts you he is a different kettle of fish.

Inonimpo,I believe you like to spar?
    Well don't spar with him.
Its horrible. And very painful. And he cheats. He once knocked me out in the interval.Still ,taught me not to drop my guard.Ever:cry:

Wasn't there a tread on that guy? The bujinkan 'special protectors' or something?

If it's the same chap he passed his godan on a special number 1000? And was awarded the warrior name 'tengu' iirc

Ive seen some of the tengu stuff.

So Alf is good then and worth going to if I want to learn proper ninjutsu?

    Where is David's dojo?

you would have to define "proper Ninjutsu" before I could attempt to answer that.
