It's taken a while... there was just those few little tweaks in footwork and such that my instructors wanted me to correct. I finally did get it right though. Onto working on the blue...
Thank you gentlemen, I'm really trying not to get caught up in the belt thing, but the better technique. After all, there's a lot of excellent green belts, and a lot of poor black belts... so Bruce Lee definitely had it right with that area of his belief with the whole belt/ranking system.
Thank you all again... the blue belt seems to be longer, I just looked it over last night and it's got more moves so it might be a while on that one lol. Either way though, I do of course look forward to the challenge and really am focused on just learning and not getting more ranks. I also start the private Muay Thai lessons once a week (all I can afford) for an hour a week soon. It took a while because they moved their facility, but I'm ready to really get down a good technique. One of the things I like about this instructor... he doesn't like you to EVER put your gloves down, even in-between your exercises, constant gloves up. I already have that habit from the bag work and such, but good to really instill that.
