Were it team championships? And do you know if the Dutch team actually took place in the championship? Edit: I found a site with all the results, seem to be a lot of eastern european countries there.. for example not a lot of medals for the spain national team (what you would expect). Were it mainly eastern european countries participating there? And oh.. by the way, did any of your students compete there neryo?
no, it was not only an eastern european thing. it's the european champs man, around 40 countries participated. unfortunately only 7 students (5 male and 2 female) from my country went to hungary (expenses) but one of the girls was my girl and she lost her fight against israel. the result was 3:3 and the judges decided to give the win to israel. could you give me the link for the results?

Oh yeah sorry neryo I've been away for a few days that's why I didn't post a link. Anyway, a lot of medals went to eastern european countries.. looks like we will see a lot of champs from that region in the future!
of course, also have a look at the championships in beijing not long ago, so many medals from other countries too. koreans took most of them, but not as many as usual.
