David Haye has made some noises regarding a return to the ring, possibly on the Joshua v White undercard. Who do you match him with? Talk on Twitter suggests it should be Tony Bellew, who I think makes perfect sense. Bellew is on the rise and Haye is a former champion. Some have said it's an easy night's work for Haye, but even if that were the case it's a great comeback match up. Others have said why not fight Joshua or Tyson Fury, but I'm not sure Haye could fight at heavyweight at the moment.
The match is broadcasted for free right now on Youtube in a worldwide first for the sport of boxing! That's nice eh? [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=izNPJEHgXxo"]Live Boxing: David Haye vs Mark de Mori - YouTube[/ame]
I thought Haye looked really good. Sure there were timing issues, but if I were Joshua or Fury I'd be choosing a fight against him very carefully. Increased power, while keeping the speed. He could be a force in the heavyweight division.
Haye sat pretty much next to me at a Japanese restaurant not long after that fight. Gave him a nodding wave hello, he was nice to acknowledge. During that 3 second interaction, I was risk-assessing as to asking about his toe. I decided it was too risky as mainly he was the size of a door.
Twitter report saying Tyson Fury went after Carl Froch and that they had to be separated by security. https://twitter.com/mikecoppinger/status/688584334295584768 Nothing on any news feed that I can find.
Have looked quick and powerful, little ring rust but very interesting addition to the heavy weight ranks, strange but I still think he is a small heavyweight even with the added stone in weight
