Collective Term

    Does anyone know the collective term for a group of martial artists or do each art have their own? Suggestions please

    A "lycra" of MMAists

    A "lounge suit" of Kung Fu guys

    A "Chest-Wig" of Kickboxers

    A "Where?" of Ninjas

    And a "Pimp" of Silat or Kuk Sool Won practicioners.

    Any others you need?

    LMAO, I think what TKDMitch is trying to say is that each group has its own name. IE, Karateka - Karate students, Judoka - Judo students, etc etc...

    Given the sheer number of cultures, languages, and even continents spanned by martial arts, you're not likely to find a more collective term for a group of martial artists than "martial artists."

    Never thought of that one, little less serious if thats OK. A where of Ninjas has got to be the best so far

    How about a bevvy of boxers? Or a plethora of pentjak silaters?
