Hi there everyone, this is a follow on from my last thread.

    http://www.martialartsplanet.com/forums/showthread.php?t=122457

I'm going to be in Cardiff for around 8 weeks and will be looking to train as much as my body is willing to let me. I want to train in judo/bjj/muay thai/MMA and also weight training.

I know of good judo http://www.hontojudo.com/Honto_Judo/Welcome.html
I know of good bjj http://www.graciebarraswansea.co.uk/index.htm
I know of good Muay Thai http://m.thaiboxingwales.com

I don't know any good MMA gyms so any experience and advice people could provide me with would be awesome. I have done plenty of googling my self and have found a few options but most of the clubs advertise on Facebook I don't know what they are all about as I refuse to join Facebook.

The other issue is the judo club and the Muay Thai club train at the exact same times, does any one know if the Sofia gardens judo club is still going and what times they train?

    Cheers in advance :)

Just started training in the Chris Rees Academy in Swansea, when I say just started, I mean like 2 sessions in BJJ. They do cover pretty much all bases with the classes they run including MMA.

Here's the class schedule for both the Swansea and Cardiff branch.

They are currently doing some work on the site though so there are some class schedule changes. Probably worth just dropping them a quick email before making the journey seeing as you're not a facebooker :)

    Hope this helps
