I have no sound on this PC right now but I got the impression that the shin whack was part of the plot. I may be wrong of course.
I've got no sound as well. He seemed pretty frustrated about it, but like I said, she seems to do fine after he goes behind the screen, so who knows. Anyone with sound have any thoughts?
Sadly, the sound is just oriental style music. My impression was that the story was this guy trying to teach her and she being hopeless to start with (the shin whack, the toppling over in hicho etc) but with perserverence and training in and away from the dojo she gets loads better. The moral of this story being....
Oh, makes perfect sense now. When I first watched it, thinking it was real, I almost peed myself! I'm sure that it's had to have happened to someone, sometime. Interesting teamwork with the Kusarigama though.
