boards Its all in the reflexes!

How popular was boxing throughout Europe. I know England (witness Louies great post) and Italy (venentian stick wars, lead to boxing matches) had a strong tradition of boxing but what about other parts of Europe.

    Cheers

P.S. I am of course referring to historical boxing not pro boxing.
