sooo... to put it bluntly i got ROCKED today at practice. it was probably the best fight i've ever had. so i got this blotch of blood underneath the top of my eyelid. any idea how i can get this to go away?
The only real thing you can do is wait it out. Being that close to the eye you don't want to start rubbing anything on it. If it's swelling or badly swollen then get an ice pack on it (short intervals only). But really the ice should have ideally gone on as soon as it happened. But time is really going to be the only thing that helps out. It will probably go through some color changes between now and disappearing.
if you experience any disturbance in vision, or pain see a doctor pronto. But otherwise, yeah you have to wait it out.
naw bro... just goes with the territory. Though not so good if you have to do any of the following: 1) Girlfriends parents 2) Job interview 3) Stopped and questioned by police I notice that when I have a bit of a busted up face and I get on the train... people usually will make a concerted effort not to make eye contact or not sit down in the open seat next to me. Q: Is it swollen? Does it feel like a bit of pink-eye or it's just more that it looks bad?
