I just realized today that playing nunchakus with eyes closed is *easier*, amazing feeling too ! Post comments if you try (or have tried) it !
Funny... I found it to be extremely painful. Seriously though, taking away one of yours senses so you can focus more on certian things and relax makes sense to me.
Im just as good as playing with my nunchaku with eyes closed as I am with them open. Seriously, they move waaay to fast to use your eyes anyways. Most of the time your staring blankly when going through the really hard fast stuff. Sometimes to show off, I'll throw on a blind fold, and play with them.
Shantari: What would you call it ? Practicing ? Well first Im self taught, therefore mostly I make things up, and second Im having so much fun with them that I dont think "practice" is appropriate. Fighter4Fighter: It is one of those things that you dont need your eyes anyway, like <something comes to my head by I wont write it because it will get deleted anyway>
it was scary at first, but then once you've tried it's almost surreal...but i love my nunchakus...so..i practice eyes open or closed..as long as i practice..and i'm all self taught anyways..so i don't know what i'm doing..it could be wrong it could be right..but most of the time..it's just cool Dj Hunny
