Ok this may have been touched on before, but I couldn't find it. I've noticed in several video games and movies that some character would have these wicked 'Bladed Tonfa'. I heard they were in Soul Caliber, but I'm not too familiar with that game myself. In 'Mortal Kombat: Deception' Tanya has them and they're reffered to as Kobujutsu. Now as far as I know Kobujutsu is just various weapons training with Tonfa, Sai, Kama, etc. but I've never heard anything about these 'Bladed Tonfa'. Are these a real weapon or were they just created for video games? If anyone could post some info that would be great
My teacher's teacher had some as a demo weapon. He had several variations of traditional weapons. He only showed a few techniques with each one, so I'm not sure how they are in overall effectiveness. They are real, but it could be one of those rare things only a few people ever used.
